Noel dans notre famille

Dans ma famille comme dans tant d`autres familles en RDC et peut-être partout dans le monde, le 25 décembre est un si grand jour. NOËL: un jour pas comme les autres, on a le droit et le devoir d`être heureux.

Dans ma famille, la plupart de fois, on nous achète de nouveaux vêtements, de nouvelles chaussures, on s`habille très chic.

Pour fêter cette année notre Noël, ça sera comme on ne l`a jamais fêté auparavent.

Mon oncle a choisi expressement le jour de Noël pour fêter son mariage: remise de dot.

Eh bien, toute la famille sans aucune exception ira fêter non seulement le mariage de l`oncle mais aussi et surtout NOËL!

J`en suis tellement heureuse car je ne ferai pas la cuisine à Noël mais plutôt, je vais prendre la bouffe bien préparée par une autre personne.

Je vais boire je ne sais pas quoi, je n'ai pas encore choisi mais pas l`alcool en tout cas! Ça sera SUPER!!!

Je l`attends avec impatience.

Christmas in our family

In my family, as in so many other families in the DRC and perhaps all over the world, the 25th December is a great day. CHRISTMAS: a day quite unlike any other when you have the right and the duty to be happy.

In my family, on most occasions, we have new clothes and shoes bought for us and we look so very chic!

Celebrating Christmas this year will be like no other. My uncle has expressly chosen Christmas day to celebrate his marriage.

Well then, all the family, without exception, will celebrate not only his wedding but also Christmas.

I'm really pleased about this, because I won't have to do the Christmas cooking but rather I'll be able to eat all the nice grub prepared by someone else. I don't know what I'll drink, I haven't decided yet but certainly not alcohol.

It's going to be GREAT!

I can't wait.
