SCIAF’s local partner, Juan XXIII, runs a health project for local communities. The patient in the photo, Anna Maria, explains why the project is so good, “We have two choices for clinics here – the government clinic or the clinic run by Juan XIII. At the government clinic, prices are very high, double what they are here. It means if we go to the government clinic, the kids just can’t eat well. Here at the Juan XIII clinic, it is not only cheaper but it is better, the service we receive is excellent.”
