SCIAF has also supported another project in Nicaragua, called CADISCO. This project helps people with disabilities play a full and active role in society. The project provides wheelchairs to people who lost limbs or were injured in the civil war. It also helps to adapt houses for those in wheelchairs. Thomas, who is in a wheelchair, has been provided with a house that suits all of his needs.
