This image shows the inside of Martha’s new house. Their old house used to get flooded because it was beside a lake. Their new house is now in a much safer area. It is twice the size of the old one and has a cement floor rather than one made of earth. Now every house in the village has running water so they no longer have to use hand pumps. It costs as little as £36 to provide the houses with running water which is a small amount considering the huge difference it can make.
