Nicaragua is the largest nation in Central America. It is a beautiful country with many lakes and rivers and one fifth of the country is designated as protected areas such as national parks, nature reserves and biological reserves. The country is bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west and the number of tourists visiting the country is growing from year to year.
