The donations given to SCIAF by supporters in Scotland made a big difference to the people of the Shang’ombo Region of Zambia. Not only were they helped through the difficult famine but they have also been trained on how to get the most from their farms. This means they have a secure supply of food and are better prepared for droughts and famines in the future. This is Inonge tending to her plants which she has been able to grow, with the help of SCIAF.
