Altar serving twins, Daniel and Angelica, celebrated their 11th birthday by hosting a disco in their local church hall. They invited all of their fellow pupils in P7. Instead of presents, Daniel and Angelica asked for donations for SCIAF, as they wanted to fund a well for a village in India.

Over 80 young people rocked the night away in the church hall. When the party finished they discovered they had raised the amazing total of £1000 – enough for two wells! Daniel and Angelica said “we just wanted to do something for others, we were really happy just having a great party with our pals.”

Their parish priest was so impressed he presented them both with special certificates to mark the occasion.
