St Ambrose High, Coatbridge

Two of SCIAF's partners received a warm and impressive musical welcome when the dropped into meet their friends in St Ambrose High in Coatbridge in Oct 2007. Mr Gopi and Lingappa, from the Association of People with Disability in Bangalore [India], were in Scotland to attend SCIAF's supporter's conference along with some of SCIAF's other partners from around the world.

The Association of People with Disability [APD] has been working in partnership with St Ambrose for a number of years and this has resulted in many great global citizenship projects around the school focussing on the themes of India and Disability - from Indian cooking in Home Economics lessons to projects in Art and Music.

The partnership is going from strength to strength and St Ambrose are preparing for a pupil and teacher visit to APD this year. Visit our video wall to see movies of their last trip.
