P4 pupils at St Blanes Primary School in Glasgow came up with lots of ideas to raise money for SCIAF. But in the end, they decided on one – a sponsored silence.
“We thought this would be a fantastic challenge because we are a class full of chatterboxes!
“During the sponsored silence we felt excited to help the charity. We were calm and relaxed but a little nervous too. We were so glad when we could talk again.
“When we all handed in our sponsor money we were amazed when our teacher, Miss McGovern told us we had managed to raise the large amount of £421.
“We hope that it will help a lot of people!”
Thanks guys - that’s a fantastic amount!
