St Cadoc's Primary is SCIAF's School of the Week

The pupils of St Cadoc’s Primary, Newton Mearns, held a fabulous whole school assembly to launch their WEE BOX Lenten appeal. They had watched SCIAF’s video clip on climate change and decided to raise money to help.

The children were asked to return their WEE BOXES three times throughout Lent and the pupils sacrificed their Golden Time to count up the money collected.

The pupils are recording the fundraising totals on a giant moneyometer displayed in the gym hall and the

school will finish its Lenten journey with a “We’ve Changed [non-uniform] Day”.

In their first week the school raised the incredible sum of £1,307.13 so they are well on track to reach their target of £3000. Thanks everyone – we know we can count on you!
