St Denis's PS, Glasgow, is the latest to embark on the journey to the Fairtrade Schools Award and the school community will be going flat out in the new session to make Fairtrade a habit. The teachers and pupils have already made the switch by stocking Fairtrade products in the staff room and tuck shop and the Pupil Council have raised awareness in the school by giving out stickers and by organising an assembly. More exciting activities are planned for the year ahead but the school has the Fairtrade Award firmly in its sights.
