Children at St Fergus’ Primary in Paisley were busy bees during Lent, raising over £1,000 for SCIAF’s WEE BOX, BIG Change campaign.
The school held two fundraising activities for each week of Lent. These included a ‘Red’ day, a 50/50 Raffle – where the prize was 50% of the takings, a Wacky Hair Day, a Cake and Candy Sale, a ‘Blind’ auction - where the children bid for mystery prizes, and an Easter Bonnet Parade.
They also created this colourful Hive of Activity selling bees for 50p and honeycomb cells for 20p – on one day the children were able to buy 1 get 1 free!
Great work guys!
