The pupils in Primary 1 at Saint Helen’s Primary in Bishopbriggs took
part in an enterprise project and made packets of seeds to sell at their
school fayre.
The children wanted to donate the monies raised to charity and looked for
real gifts from the SCIAF real gifts site for ideas. Both Primary 1 classes
decided to raise £44 to send a child to school for a year.
Through their hardwork they created beautifully illustrated seeds packets.

Seeds of love

At the fayre they sold an impressive 214 packets and raised an amazing total of £107. This allowed them to donate money to pay for the education of two children and to buy two school uniforms. The children

presented their donation when a SCIAF representative visited our school during Lent.
