St Margaret's Primary

June 2009

The pupils of St Margaret’s Primary school in South Queensferry had great fun watching their lovely tree burst into bloom. Each class chose a different colour of leaf and pupils added them to the

tree all through Lent.

Small gifts of money were worth one leaf, while larger sums over £1 were worth a bird or a piece of fruit. The children were touched by the story of Isadora and her family and so everyone in the school joined in, from the youngest pupils to the Secretary, Janitor and Cleaning Ladies! Our tree raised over £150 pounds for SCIAF!

Thank you SCIAF, for the all the WEE BOX information!
