School of the Week

December 2007

Lent is a fun time for children and staff here at St Mary’s Primary, with four fundraising afternoons during the Lenten season.

· During the first week of our Lenten activities we had an exciting bring and buy sale

· In week two we had our Fun Afternoon with exciting activities on offer including face painting and beat the goalie...

· During our third week of fundraising we had our eagerly awaited annual school quiz

· The fundraising finale takes the form of our annual Sean Paul Harper Talent Show, which includes acts of singing, dancing, magic and comedy.

In 2007, we raised £516 for SCIAF. St Mary’s are proud to donate to SCIAF every year and will continue to do so long into the future.
