Fed up with buying expensive Valentine's cards each year to no effect? Then you might want to borrow an idea from the 'sweethearts' in the Social Subjects Department of St Maurice's High in Cumbernauld.
The school donated £400 to SCIAF following another successful year of their annual Valentine's booklet fundraiser. For a certain small fee pupils can write Valentine's messages onto sheets which are then photocopied and sold around the school.
Not only does it create excitement and a lot of fun but it does a lot of good too. For several years the Department have been donating the proceeds to SCIAF's crucial work with rural communities in Cambodia.
Thanks to all involved - love SCIAF x
