Anyone involved with St Monica’s Primary in Coatbridge will be able to tell you that the school knows how to put on a great event ­– and that they’re BIG, BIG fans of Fairtrade.

So it’ll come as no surprise that their most recent event, a Fairtrade cake and candy, attracted some special guests including Linda Fabiani MSP [Member of the Scottish Parliament] and SCIAF’s former President, Bishop John Mone who were both keen to sample some of the treats on offer.

The event was a real success and raised £108.30 for SCIAF as well as helping to raise awareness about Fairtrade.

Well done to all and a BIG thanks from SCIAF :)
