BIG thanks from SCIAF to all at St Vincent's for their massive fundraising efforts. Here's a letter from one pupil to tell us how they did it!

Dear SCIAF,

I’m 11 years old and I go to St. Vincent’s School. Our topic last term was Global Citizenship.

Primary 7 all went on the SCIAF website to research some developing countries. We decided that we will raise money for Colombia. Out target was £500. We raised the money by having a craft sale, making some class calendars and selling bricks around the school.

Our grand total was £754.42. We would like you to spend the money on teacher training and for a refugee child. If there is any spare please buy some worms to help a family grow their crops.
