Fairtrade cafe
Arrange for a large room to be made available during lunchtime and have stacks of Fairtrade goodies for people to try - don't forget to include healthy stuff such as Fairtrade fruit. Charge people entrance money and for any goodies they buy.
Valentine's booklet
Help true love blossom by charging pupils money to write valentine messages on sheets of paper. Photocopy all the messages into a booklet and sell them round the school. Those who want a bigger message pay more!
Battle of the bands or X-Factor competition
It might be Girls Aloud versus Westlife or Pussycat Dolls versus McFly. There's lots of money to be had and lots of fun too in organising a battle of the bands competition.
School-bay auction
Lay out all the items in a room and ask people to write their name and bid beside items they want to buy. Highest bid wins.
Blind Date
Got some pupils who are up for it? Do a send-up of the famous show and see if the line-up are a bunch of charmers or real warmers! Charge entrance money for the giggle of a lifetime.
Weakest Link quiz
Who's the nastiest teacher in the school? Are they a match for the famous TV quiz mistress Anne Robinson? Make their dreams come true by giving them a chance to get their own back on the pupils. Charge pupils entrance money for the thrill of seeing their friends quake in their shoes!
Fun lesson
All lessons are fun - every teacher will testify to that! But for one lesson, and one lesson only, get your teacher to put on a real show. People will be pay good money to see that.
