Millions of children across the world earn a living by working or doing odd jobs. Have a go at some of these activities to raise money and awareness! And don't forget to download a SCIAF Sponsor Form.

Shoeshines

Arrange an event at lunchtime or during a parent's evening. You'll need coloured polish, cloths and brushes. Arrange a few chairs in a strategic location to bring in the customers. Charge 50p a shoe.

Carwashes

Publicise the event in the school and get teachers to sign up. Don't forget to ask them to state their car model, colour and registration number so you can find it in the car park! Make sure cars don't just get wet but get clean!

Bag packing

Most local supermarkets are happy to oblige. Contact them well in advance to book a slot.

Young enterprise

Put your business ideas to good use by making a product, marketing it and giving profits to SCIAF. The ultimate in ethical business!

Tuckshop

Run a fair trade tuckshop and give the profits to SCIAF. Or donate the moeny from your ordinary tuckshop to SCIAF.
