These photos show how a landless community can turn wasteland owned by a sugar mill into a fertile garden. Thanks to your help Marcio may soon get the land and home his family desperately need.

The Pastoral Land Commission has taken up the case of his community and is helping them to fight for land rights.

This will mean his family can grow food, keep animals and build a proper home.

Once they are settled they can improve their lives and Marcio may even get the chance to go to school.
