SCIAF's new resource for primary schools ties in closely with popular topics such as water, food, education, homes, the environment and health. These themes are all set within the context of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) - the 8 goals set by world leaders to reduce by half the number of people in the world who live in desperate poverty. These goals represent our best chance to end poverty and hunger in our world, and through the superb educational materials in this pack, SCIAF aims to show just how important these goals are to the daily lives of boys and girls in developing countries.

The pack is substantial and includes nine large posters and a fifty-page booklet with classroom activities and teacher's notes. The pack also breaks new ground for SCIAF in that it contains a DVD-ROM with video clips, pictures and interactive whiteboard activities.

One free copy of the pack will be sent late 2006 to each SCIAF-registered school. Additional copies can be purchased from SCIAF for £10 + 20% postage and packaging.
