About our campaign

To help you GIVE, REFLECT and ACT this Lent, we’d like to invite you on a journey – a journey starting with your WEE BOX and concluding with a BIG CHANGE. Along the way you’ll meet some wonderful people. We, at SCIAF, have been inspired by their stories of courage and survival and we know you will be too.

Our campaign focuses on the two separate themes of conflict and climate change. These themes are explored using the powerful testimony of two families:

	Jenneth [pronounced Janet] lives in northern Uganda. While making her way to school was abducted by the rebel soldiers from the Lord’s Resistance Army and forced to become a child soldier. more>>
	Rosemary and her family live in northern Kenya and have been badly affected by climate change as droughts and flash floods become increasingly common. more>>
	Global Warning – families in the developing world are bearing the brunt of climate change. For them, it’s a matter of life or death. Please support our campaign to cut carbon in Scotland. more>>
