FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT 2011

It’s that time of the year again to shout out about fair trade with Fairtrade Fortnight taking place between 28th Feb and 13th March.

Last year, more than a million people across the UK swapped to fair trade products during Fairtrade Fortnight. This was a brilliant way of showing support to the 7.5 million farmers in developing countries who benefit from sales of their Fairtrade products.

This year the spotlight for Fairtrade Fortnight is on cotton, highlighting the injustices faced by millions of cotton farmers in West Africa and India
