Pack launch

Pupils from Calderglen High in East Kilbride were on hand to help SCIAF launch its new global citizenship resource for modern languages.

The exciting new resource for French teachers is called Citoyens Du Monde [Citizens of the World]. It is tailor-made for A Curriculum for Excellence and is packed-full of photos, lesson ideas and videos to help pupils learn French and also about life in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The two young people featured in the pack, Aimée and Joseph, show that young people have an important role to play in helping their communities, country and world become a better place.
